Idris is in charge of the running of the firm and also provides the policy direction for the Firm. He has an extensive interest in Telecommunication law and Corporate and Commercial Law, he has studied both aspects at  Postgraduate Level. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom) and has extensive experience in Arbitration. He is also an accomplished litigator and appellate court lawyer, who has written several briefs at the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and appears regularly at the High Court of Justice.

• Technology AI & Telecomms 

Idris leads the firm’s work on integrating technology and artificial intelligence into legal practice, with a focus on improving efficiency, decision-making, and dispute management. Idris has delivered practical AI training and capacity-building programmes for the Kaduna State High Court Judges, lawyers of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Kaduna Zonal Office), private companies, and other institutions. His work in this area bridges law, technology, and judicial administration.

• Idris has been invited to speak on artificial intelligence, technology, and telecommunications law at major professional fora, including the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference in 2021 and 2023, as well as programmes of the Section on Legal Practice of the Nigerian Bar Association in 2021 and 2023. He regularly advises companies operating in the technology space on regulatory compliance, contracts, dispute risk, and strategic legal positioning.

  • Successfully Represented A Nigerian Tower Company In A Claim Of $65 Million Dollars Against A Major Telecommunications Company In Nigeria Before An Adhoc Arbitral Panel.

  • Successfully Represented A Turkish National In A Claim Of Breach Of Agreement And Monetary Claim Against A Nigerian Company.

  • Successfully Represented a Nigerian Tower Company In A Dispute On The Termination Of A Lease Agreement Between The Company And A Landlord On One Of Its Base Transmission Stations.

  • Represented A Client In A N1.2 Billion Damages Claim Against A Multinational Company.

  • Led a Team that Represented A Client In An N650 Million Contract Claim Against A State Government.
